Our principles

This principle on which Ayla Health is built is close to our heart: ‘Nourish Your Body’.

Eating and every time you eat is an opportunity to nourish yourself both physically and mentally.

And when we say nourish, we mean provide taste, enjoyment and nutrition.

There is a common practice within wellness culture that we’ve observed over the years where people take an almost ‘religious’ approach to their diet. Certain foods are labelled toxic. They must cleanse themselves regularly. Fasting is a way to ‘re-set’ their body and they feel guilt and shame when they don’t eat like they’re supposed to.

We don’t believe that this is a healthy way to approach food. Food holds no moral value. It doesn’t get you into heaven at the end of your life!

All foods provide a level of nourishment for some part of you and the goal in our program is to focus you on what to eat MORE of, rather than telling you what you should eat less of!

The goal is the ability to eat ALL foods, enjoy what you’re eating AND help you achieve good long term health.

You’ll see this VERY strongly weaved throughout our online modules and find it freeing in the way you view food and health!
