This module covers the anatomy (parts) and physiology (function) of the gastrointestinal tract, helping you understand and appreciate it’s complexity and how it works. It covers all the elements (organs, glands etc.) that make up the gastrointestinal tract, from mouth to anus, and their functions. Understanding the gut, what it does and how it does it, is a key part of understanding why it might not be feeling so great and what you can do about it!
