This module is a deep dive into protein and it’s role in maximising health during menopause and beyond. You’ll learn what it is, it’s role in the body and your post-menopausal health and the major food sources. We’ll go into detail on how your protein intake may need to change at menopause to manage your risk of muscle and bone loss as well as help you stay satisfied and manage your appetite. We’ll teach you how you can easily reach your daily protein needs from both animal and plants sources with lots of practical strategies such as foods, habits and recipes so you can put what you learn into practice.
